Mitzi's brother David called last night with the sad news Mitzi's mother is very ill. After many phone calls & tears we canceled our River Cruise so that Mitzi could fly to LA to be with her family. We did take the boat to Peterhof for a quiet day among the beautiful fountains and gardens. We came back to our hotel & Mitzi is leaving for the airport at 3 AM. She spoke to her mom, dad & brothers. We are ending our trip on a sad note but will be back. Connie will fly home on Friday.
